Dr. Priyanka Arora holds a position of Academic Program Coordinator and a dedicated faculty with a passion for exploring intricate connection among public, health and information technology. She is committed to develop and implement a curriculum to enhance academic and non-academic skills of students using diverse teaching modalities. She has received Ph.D. degree from the Department of the Food and Nutrition, Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi. Her comprehensive work included assessment of nutritional status, physical activity, knowledge, attitude and dietary practices, risk of depression among overweight and obese pregnant women and its association with pregnancy outcome. She is UGC-NET qualified and have been awarded with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2015. She has 2 years of experience working in academic domain which includes teaching, preparing course curriculum, mentoring students for research projects and counselling. She is associated as an academic counsellor with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and teaching Entrepreneurship and Food Service Management to graduate students. Her scholarly endeavours include 7 published papers in quality peer-reviewed journals with 75+ citations, contributing valuable insights to the field of maternal health. She has also presented her papers and shared her perspective on current maternal health scenario at International and National Conferences. Her wide interests encompass Public Health Nutrition, Prenatal and Postnatal Nutrition. She is a member of Indian dietetic Association (IDA), Nutrition Society of India (NSI) and Epidemiology Foundation of India (EFI).
