CARE started the Integrated Family Health Initiative (IFHI) as part of the Ananya program. CARE designed IFHI to support the Government of Bihar (GoB) in improving maternal, new-born, and child health and nutrition outcomes through better availability, quality, and uptake of key family health services and to build leadership and ownership of these services.
To free the children aged 06 years from malnutrition and anemia and women aged 15 to 49 years from the anemia, the Chief Minister's Nutrition Campaign was started in the entire state from 02 October 2019 with public support and public participation, which is now the Chief Minister's Nutrition Scheme Is being operated by name.

Under Kulavilakku, Financial Assistance of ₹500/- will be provided to pregnant women to their improve nutritional status. The benefit will be provided for two pregnancy only. Under Aravanaippu, to improve the status of the girl child and to provide nutritious food to the girl child; financial assistance of ₹1,200/- will be provided to the Lactating mother. The assistance will be provided only to two girl children in a household.
Kalaignar Karunanidhi Breakfast Scheme 2020 has been launched by the Puducherry government. In this free food scheme, the Union Territory govt. will provide nutritious breakfast to each of the school students in morning.

Bala Sanjeevani scheme meant for the pregant women and children in the state. Under the scheme nutritious food will be provided to the pregnant women and children under the age of 6 years.
