What is the eligibility criteria of the certificate program?
The minimum eligibility criteria is Undergraduate or Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/institute.
Which documents are required for applying?
You are required to upload the following:
- Academic Transcripts/Degree
- Resume
- Statement of Purpose (250 to 500 words). It can include immediate and long-term goals, why you wish to pursue a certificate program in Health and Nutrition Informatics.
How will the certificate program be delivered?
It will be an online-based certificate program. The program will be taught in a combination of interactive online virtual lectures, case studies, assessments, and recommended readings from journal articles and textbooks in a modular format.
What is the fees for the certificate program?
National Students: INR 12,000
International Students: INR 25,000
Are there any prerequisites for enrolling in the program?
No, undergraduates and graduates from any field can apply for the program.
Will a mentor or supervisor be assigned to each student for the course?
Yes, all the enrolled students will be assigned a mentor. We aim to maintain a 1:4 ratio.
When to pay the course fees?
You’ll need to make an advanced payment when you’ve accepted the offer to study with us.
What is the duration of the certificate program?
The certificate program is for 16 weeks.
How often will the classes be conducted?
The classes will be conducted once a week for each module.
When and How will I have access to the course material, lectures, assignments?
You can have access to the course material after the successful payment for the course. Students will receive an official email id through which they can login to the Learning Management System. The official email id will be given before the start of the course.
How long do I have access to course materials?
Your access to course materials ends on the program end date. After that date, you will not have access to the program.
How can I interact with the supervisors/ mentor/ faculty?
You can interact with the supervisor/mentor/faculty via live interactive sessions and discussion forums. You can also connect with the course faculty via the program officer to solve your course queries.
What are the evaluation criteria for the course?
The course utilizes a mix of examinations after each module. Students will be evaluated based on internal assignments such as case studies, quizzes, research papers, presentations, discussion forums, and one final examination along with the research seminar at the end of the program.
Will I get a certificate upon completion of the course?
The final online certificate will be awarded only to the students who complete the course and clear all the course requirements including attending the lectures, timely submission of the assignments, participating in the discussion forum and research seminar.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations and refunds are not available for the certificate program once you accept the admission offer.
