Delhi government brings widow, disability programme beenficiaries under Ayushman Bharat scheme

Objectives:
- The main objective of this decision is to expand Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) health coverage to widows and persons with disabilities in Delhi. It aims to provide cashless hospital treatment up to ₹5 lakh per family per year, ensuring financial protection and better access to healthcare for vulnerable groups.
Rice Fortification Initiative, India

- To provide vulnerable populations with enhanced nutrition by distributing fortified rice enriched with essential micronutrients such as iron, folic acid, and vitamin B12.
