Wheat Based Supplementary Nutrition Programmes

It is a centrally sponsored programme introduced in 1986 but now transferred to the State Sector. This programme follow the norms of SNP or of the nutrition component of the ICDS. Central Assistance for the programme consist of supply of free wheat and supportive costs for other ingredients, cooking, transport etc.

Applied Nutrition Programmes
