Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandhana Youjana (PMMVY)

Objectives:
- Providing partial compensation for the wage loss in terms of cash incentive s so that the woman can take adequate res t before and after delivery of the first living child.
- The cash incentive provided would lead to improved health seeking behaviour amongst the Pregnant Women and Lactating Mothers (PW& LM).
Mathrupoorna Programme
Launched: 2017
Objectives:
- To provide nutritious meal for at least once a day to the poor women who are lactating mothers or are pregnant.
- To bring down the infant mortality rate in the state by checking on the problems of child mal nutrition.
National Nutrition Mission (Poshan Abhiyaan)

Objectives:
- To improve the nutritional status of the targeted population of children aged 0-6 years, adolescent girls, pregnant, and lactating women in India
- The objective of POSHAN Abhiyaan to reduce stunting in identified Districts of India with the highest malnutrition burden by improving utilization of key Anganwadi Services and improving the quality of Anganwadi Services delivery.
- It aim to ensure holistic development and adequate nutrition for pregnant women, mothers and children.
Assistance for pregnant women and lactating mothers (Kulavilakku and Aravanaippu)

Objectives:
- To help economically the pregnant women to ensure proper health care to themselves during the pregnancy period as well as after the delivery.
- o provide additional nutrition not only the mother care but also promoting the welfare of the infants for the healthy beginning of such newly born babies.
- The scheme is also aimed at inculcating awareness among the parents to understand the welfare of the pregnant women and proper childhood care which shapes children's future settlement in life.
CATCH: Ensuring quality healthcare for all in Sikkim

Objectives:
- The short to medium term goal is to provide a systematic and comprehensive health check up to all citizens of Sikkim on an annual basis closest to their doorsteps, so as to enable them to know their health status and help them to maintain good health by spotting potential risk factors and diseases in their early stages.
- To provide cost effective treatment through early detection of diseases and comprehensive health care.
- The long term goal is to prepare a data base substantial enough to understand the actual health problems and needs of the Sikkims populace and plan accordingly to enable the state to put in place locally relevant and responsive interventions.

Rastriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram

ArogyaLaxmi programme

Objectives:
- Enhance the quality and acceptability of supplementary nutrition by the Pregnant and Lactating women.
- Ensure food supplied is consumed by only the Pregnant and Lactating women rather than the whole family.
- Ensure that Pregnant and Lactating women consume 90+ IFA tablets.
Janani-Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK)

Objectives:
- To provide completely free and cashless services to pregnant women including normal deliveries and caesarean operations and sick new born (up to 30 days after birth) in Government health institutions in both rural and urban areas.
