The study of this research paper is based on the dietary changes during the first lockdown. As, there was less physical activity and people were spending more time at home. In this study four themes were identified: Dietary patterns, Dietary habits (favorable), Dietary habits (unfavorable), others (physical activity levels, weight gain). There was increase in number of snacks consumed, increased in meal number, increase in consumption of sweets, fried foods, and processed foods, alcohol consumption. There were some studies that showed opposite results like home workout, healthy eating and of fresh produce. Basically, there are positive as well as negative impacts of COVID-19 on lifestyle. Poor lifestyle pattern causes weight gain, mental health issues and limited physical activity. If these negative impacts will occur on long term basis they will negatively impact the health of population.
